The Three Tier system
The Elite are classed into three subclasses/tiers. The Royal Elite, the Noble Elite and the Elite.
The Royal Elite are the direct descendants of the twelve original Royal families. Thus they have pure Royal blood.
The Noble Elite are at least partially descended from Royal blood, but have either human blood or Elite blood in their lineage.
The Elite are all Elite who do not have any Royal blood at all. It does not matter if they are fully descended from Elite or have human ancestry.
The greater the percentage of Royal blood in an individual, the greater the probability of linking.
